Oklahoma Rugby’s facilities are among the best in the country. The Al Velie Rugby Complex boasts two top of the line pitches side-by-side, the jewel being The Tarzan Pitch. Both pitches are professionally maintained year around by the University of Oklahoma. The Tarzan Pitch is a laser graded surface with a slight crown, excellent drainage and a built in sprinkler system. The 35 foot permanent posts assure everyone that they are at a rugby pitch and are always appreciated by goal kickers. The berm and accompanying stands on the south side of the pitch provides raised seating for spectators to enjoy the Sooners games.

Along with our wonderful outdoor pitches OU Rugby enjoys access to the Everest Indoor Training Center. The 74,000 square-foot indoor practice facility includes a full-sized playing field and a 65-foot ceiling to allow for all kicking drills.

The Tarzan Pitch does sound quite appealing. Boomer Sooner!
